Fantasy Easter Egg: Link's Grave
In Elfheim, walk to
the top of the town where all the gravestones are. Click the one to the left
and it will say, "Here lies Link." Some of you may be familiar with
the name.

Fantasy Unlockable: Art Gallery
You must finish the game once.
You must finish the game once.

Fantasy Unlockable: Item Minigame
After acquiring
your ship, hold the X button down and tab the Circle button repeatedly (as in,
over fifty times). Eventually, you will have hit the button enough times that a
secret minigame will pop up. If you beat this puzzle-related minigame, you will
be automatically rewarded with a random item, which can then be found in your
inventory.

Fantasy Unlockable: Bestiary & Music Player
To unlock the
complete in-game Bestiary, as well as a Music Player which has every music
track in the game, you must beat the game once through.

Fantasy Hint: Easy Leveling
Have the Judgment
Staff in your inventory so that Flare can be easily cast. Have all but one
character dead in your party, and to be safe have that character be at least
level 50. Then, go to the second floor of the Chaos Shrine. Fight Green Dragons
and Black Knights that reside there. When in battle, use the Judgment Staff to
cast Flare, which will instantaneously kill the foes (although a second round
of Flare casting may be needed). The experience points (EXP) dropped by the
Green Dragons and Black Knights is staggering and will allow you to quickly
level up your character, one at a time.

Fantasy Hint: Easy Leveling II
When your party
receives the boat and can go on water to fight water-based enemies, you will be
able to easily level-up. Find a place where you can travel around the entire
world map via water without running into land. Tape down the directional button
and the X button (or put something else heavy on it), making sure your party is
around level 20 or higher in order to withstand the attacks that will occur.
Then, walk away, keeping the occasional eye on the game to make sure your party
hasn’t been slain. If done properly, your party will quickly and easily level
up in this way.

Fantasy Hint: An Unlimited Item
After unlocking the
Earth Gift Shrine (by relighting the Earth Crystal), head there to find an item
that increases your life permanently by five (it’s in the desert section of the
Shrine). If you continue on in the shrine and lose to one of the four bosses
within, it will send you back to the beginning of the Shrine, but you’ll still
have that item. What’s more, you can get the item again when you proceed
through the Shrine once more. You can repeat this process over and over again
to get the item as many times as you want!

Fantasy Hint: Low Level Auto-Experience
Note: You need to
obtain the Ship, defeat Lich and obtain the Healing Staff & Gauntlets from
the Citadel of Trials before attempting this.
Set your Cursor
settings to "Memory." Find a location between the north and south
continents heading east to west that allows for uninterrupted, around-the-world
sailing. Fight one battle having your Melee character attack, character with
highest Intelligence using Healing Staff, and the 2nd highest using Gauntlets.
(Optional) Once this is done you will notice holding down the X button will
auto-select the same choices for you. Use something (Tape? Rubber bands? Bubble
gum?) to pin the X button and LEFT or RIGHT down. Your party will now
auto-fight and heal itself every round. Check back if you begin at a really low
level as you MAY die. But you shouldn't. Happy
auto-leveling!
Final
Fantasy Hint: High Level Auto-Experience
Note: You need to
obtain the Airship, Warp Cube, Rune Staff, Protect Ring (x 4), Ribbon (x 4)
(Rune Staff user is a must), Judgment Staff (Suggested).
Equip everyone with
a Protect Ring and Ribbon. Travel to the Flying Fortress Floor 4. Head south
one screen length. Using a similar strategy as in the low-level trick, have
your melee character attack, and your highest Intelligence members use the Rune
Staff and Judgment Staff. Pin down X and LEFT or RIGHT, making your party walk
infinitely in a straight line. If your party is too weak, the Rune staff will
not be enough to keep them alive.
