Shadow Mode

After successfully completing a mission, you can switch to "Shadow Mode" by pressing the Start button at the Story Mode - Mission Select screen. This allows you to play a more difficult version of the missions you have already completed with less items and more enemies in different configurations.

Unlockables for Tenchu: Shadow Assassins:

Ancient Hissatsu Techniques: Complete 30 Assignments

Colored Rice: Complete 50 Assignments

Concept Art Gallery: Complete 10 Assignments

Devil's Mask: Get all 20 mask pieces in Shadow Mode.

Izayoi (Rikimaru's Unbreakable Sword): Get all of the map pieces in stages 1 through 5, and 10.

Memories (Video Gallery): Complete 40 Assignments

Ninja Tabi '08: Complete Story Mode

Onibi (Ayame's Unbreakable Sword): Get all of the map pieces in stages 6 through 9.

Sound and Music: Complete 20 Assignments

Tenchu: Shadow Assassins Unlockable: Speed Socks

Beat the game once (on Normal) to unlock the Speed Socks. When equipped you cannot get an S or A rank.

7. Onibi (Ayame's Unbreakable Sword) - Gather all of the Map Pieces in stages 6-9
